Hedges are overgrown onto the path between the canal bridge and the railway bridge. Pedestrians struggle to walk down here-especially those with young children in a pushchair or those in wheelchairs. These people have to resort to going on the road (there is no path on the other side), which is dangerous as drivers can’t see until they are over the canal bridge and too close. Hedges are usually fine over the winter but they have not been cut for a few months now, so they need cutting back ASAP, as many people use this way to get to the play area, doctors surgery etc.
