Attempted fire and vandalism

Reported in the Rubbish (refuse and recycling) category anonymously at 19:14, Saturday 13 July 2019

Sent to South Oxfordshire District Council 1 minute later

Cardboard boxes and glass bottles were not picked up on Thursday's litter picking round as witnessed by local residents which then led to a local group of youths using a cigarette lighter to set the box on fire and also smash the glass bottles against the wall of the offices on Friday evening (witnessed by three different members of the public). They were warned amidst their smashing glass and then they started setting the cardboard box on fire at which point another passerby started ringing the police at which point they scarpered. This could have been a serious fire as it was very near a large motorbike. Please therefore have ALL litter cleared every morning and not left as this was witnessed to have been ignored and left on Thursday during the usual litter picking round.
