Overgrown hedgerows and detritis on the footpath from The Holme to the Fishponds on Burnley Road Cliviger

Reported in the Pavements/footpaths category anonymously at 17:43, Saturday 13 July 2019

Sent to Lancashire County Council 1 minute later

The footpath is overgrown and full of detritus forcing pedestrians to walk in the road in an unrestricted carriageway. This has been in this condition for several months but due to renewed hedge growth is even worse. This runs from The Holme to the Fishponds on Burnley Road and is made worse to the fact that on this part of the carriageway there is only one footpath.

Updates

  • Footpath is even worse, you have to walk on the road which is a national speed limit, not happy with the lack of response

  • Completely overgrown, you have to walk even further onto the road for longer around a blind bend. Surprised no one has been injured yet.
