Dogs are fouling the playing field daily

Despite dogs not being allowed in the Goosacre playing field owners are consistently walking their animals and letting them foul on the grass, without picking it up. When challenged they are aggressive. These fields are used by sports clubs and the Brownies so this is a serious health hazard. My daughter recently stepped in dog mess (see photo) and we had to throw her shoes away.
The playing fields in Radley are the responsibility of Radley Parish Council. They have already contacted the district council and have been advised as to various ways they can enforce on banning dogs from the land. They have also been provided with blank witness statements if local residents can identify any person allowing their dog to foul on the land. If any member of the public witnesses adog fouling offence taking place and can provide name and address details of the offender then they will need to provide an official documented statement. Vale of White Horse District Council can then issue a £50 Fixed Penaly Notice and follow up with court action if required. Signage stating that persons are committing an offence if they allow their dog to foul have also been put up in the area today.
