Loose and raised holding kerb strip

Reported in the Roads/highways category anonymously at 08:36, Wed 10 July 2019

Sent to Hampshire County Council 3 minutes later. FixMyStreet ref: 1690941.

The cobbled strip that runs across the road is held by a 600 x 250 holding concrete kerb stones. The middle section is loose and when driven over comes up. Sometimes remaining up in a dangerous position for vehicles to pass over. This is an urgent repair as will cause damage to the underside of vehicles.

Updates

  • The stone has now broken in half (due to the traffic driving over it). Every time a car passes over, it flips up. This could cause a problem to the underside of vehicles and is a hazard.
