Tree overhanging property

Reported in the Trees category anonymously at 13:38, Friday 5 July 2019

Sent to Oxfordshire County Council 2 minutes later. Council ref: 1685802.

Please can you arrange pruning of this oak tree which is now overhanging our property and when wet is hitting the roof, it has not been fully crowned for a number of years and is in need of proper action not the minor trim that has been happening.

  • Still no action after 3 months, even through you told us it had been passed to a contractor, is the contractor at fault or did you just try to fob us off? Very very poor service by Oxfordshire Council or prehaps this website is just a joke?

  • Still no action after our first contact on the 5th July, the tree is now hitting our house during windy weather, what do we have to do to get action?

  • There has still been no action to prune this tree, first reported 5th July 2019, I spoke to someone last week who promised action but yet again nothing, the matter is now being passed to my solicitor as we believe you have failed in your duty of care to protect our property
