Severely overgrown hedge at empty house

Reported in the Other (non-highways) category anonymously at 12:50, Fri 5 July 2019

Sent to East Hampshire District Council and Hampshire County Council 4 minutes later. FixMyStreet ref: 1685741.

This unoccupied and for sale corner house has an extensive mixed hedge including brambles which is extremely overgrown and seriously impacting on the pavement. Could it please be radically cut right back to where it should be.

Updates

  • Well a contractor did do some cutting back. He was told by the estate agents to cut back enough to get the council off their back! He actually found the street sign. But that side particularly has not been taken back far enough.

  • No further action as yet. 2 other houses have trimmed their own hedges but not in any way back to their boundaries. The only house which has complied with council demands is mine. My poor hedge is ruined.😥
