Fragments of glass on cycle super highway in both directions over long stretches

Reported anonymously at 07:12, Fri 5 July 2019

Sent to Leeds City Council 6 minutes later. FixMyStreet ref: 1685229.

There is a build up of broken glass in patches along many areas of the cycle lanes, but it’s not just one place now, and it’s in both directions on the cycle super highway between Seacfroft Hospital and where the inner ring road starts, and many other cyclists and me are getting multiple punctures each week. It’s become so bad I’m now having to ride in the road again as it’s never cleared. I had a bad accident a few months ago as my front tyre went down quickly and my bike went from underneath me when the rim contacted the road. The whole section now needs sweeping along the superhighway route between seacroft hospital and the inner ring road please. It’s hard to say just one spot as it’s so many areas I don’t think I could log it easily unless you really needed me to. If you need me to I will, but please email so I know it’s necessary: Philip.turton@nhs.net Thank you very much for helping
