Parking on front lawn

Reported in the Roads/highways category anonymously at 19:40, Thursday 4 July 2019

Sent to Hertfordshire County Council 5 minutes later

Number 15 Wigram Way is parking their car on their front lawn. They have removed their boundary hedge, they have no hard standing, no driveway, no dropped kerb and are obviously flouting planning regulations, trespassing across council property to selfishly park their car. This is a widespread problem, thousands of council tax payers have to pay to park their cars jumping through bureaucratic hoops while others feel they don't need to because the Council are doing nothing to enforce their own regulations.

  • Ha, ha, ha! The Council are absolutely useless. They claim that illegal parking is not a priority which allows all residents to ignore the planning office and park their vehicles on their front lawns without a dropped kerb, hard standing or a driveway. PATHETIC! If the planning office don't enforce their regulations then we can all do as we like, forget months waiting for permission and the cost of building works, just drive your car over the pavement and park in your garden without consequences.
