49 Longfields no hard standing, no dropped kerb, no driveway - same old story.

Sent to Hertfordshire County Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 1678691.
Number 49 Longfields has a Kia saloon car, it is parked on their front lawn. They have no hard standing area, no driveway, no vehicular access permit and no dropped kerb and have, obviously, never been in contact with highways or the planning office. I, on the other hand, wish to park my car on hard standing in front of my house and I am prepared to purchase council land to do so, will pay for vehicular access, a dropped kerb and planning permission, yet the head of planning, Rebecca Elliot has informed me, in an informal email, that I will not be granted planning permission - typical! I am prepared to jump through all the planning hoops and pay with my hard earn cash to get what I want and yet I see hundreds of others who ignore all the rules and regulations and park in their gardens irrespective of planning. I will continue to make the council aware of all these households who are flouting the law, but will they do anything?

-
Highways and other Council offices do not consider a breach of planning regulations to be a priority.

Rebecca Elliot is the chief planning officer, Stevenage residents don't respect her they don't bother applying to the planning office for hard standing, a driveway or a dropped kerb because she does not enforce planning regulations, hilarious! Ha, ha, ha!
