22 Manor View no dropped kerb

Reported in the Roads/highways category anonymously at 21:34, Fri 28 June 2019

Sent to Hertfordshire County Council 1 minute later

Number 22 Manor View has a concrete hard stand for their vehicle but hasn't applied to the planning office for a dropped kerb, unlike thousands of other home owners. Are they special? Perhaps we should all ignore planning regulations and bump up kerbs to park our cars on our gardens - a cost effective solution to the lack of parking spaces!

  • Highways and other Council departments do not consider a breach of planning regulations to be a priority.

  • Ha, ha, ha! The Planning Office, which is run by Rebecca Elliot, is a joke. Don't bother applying for planning permission for a dropped kerb, hard standing and a driveway, just remove your boundary wall/hedge/fence and park your car on your front lawn, the planning office do not enforce their own regulations, so why waste your money? Hilarious!
