New road surface deterioration.

Reported in the Road works problem category anonymously at 20:04, Fri 28 June 2019

Sent to Warwickshire County Council 1 minute later

The A428 between Church Lawford and Brentford, and the Fossway through Brinklow were recently resurfaced using tar and stone chippings. The quality of the work carried out is in places very poor. In just 2 weeks it has completely disintegrated at several junctions. Namely: A428 on the bend at the Fosseway A4455 at Bretford. Also the the junction of Broad St and Coventry Rd, Brinklow, and the junction A4455 and Cathiron Lane Brinklow. The surface between those two junctions is also poor where it has overlapped in the centre of the carriageway. The very hot weather tomorrow (29/6/2019) will I’m sure contribute to further deterioration. The original work carried out was of very poor quality and rushed. Quality control and retraining is required. It’s a waste of public money carrying out poor quality work and then having to correct it time and time again.
