The stretch of path from Maybury Drive/Almond Green down to the bottom of Hayfield is always prone to a layer of mud. Partly due to inappropriate vehicles pulling mud from the verges and partly due to the tree cover. However after Monday's rain storms it has now become worse than usual with some parts becoming dangerously slippery.
