Illegally Parked Cars inbetween Bollards

Reported in the Car parking category anonymously at 15:57, Tue 22 February 2011

Sent to Leicester City Council 2 minutes later

Cars are parked illegally inbetween the bollards of a ramp on the street, causing difficulty for disabled persons to cross, or for parents taking and bringing their children home from school as the pavement is blocked by the cars. also four houses (either side) have their entrances restricted because people leave thier cars inbetween the poles on the ramp onto the pavement. bollards need to be removed so cars can be parked on the road or an additional bollard is required inbetween the other two bollards on either side. Two previous complaints have been raised by homeowners, but council have confirmed they cannot afford to do anything, but something clearly needs to be done.

  • Still open, via questionnaire, 16:33, Wed 20 April 2011

  • Have been contacted by the council who will look at the abandoned cars, but that's about as much as they can do as most cars that are left here whether it be a day or couple of months all have tax. I have been informed to contact the councillors and try and look into getting residential parking set up.

    Thanks
