No. 109 Oaks Cross has neither hard standing, a drive or a dropped kerb but parks two cars on their front garden

Sent to Hertfordshire County Council 1 minute later

Nos. 84 and 109 Oaks Cross have neither hard standing, driveway or dropped kerb but are parking two cars on their front gardens. I was walking up Oaks Cross and suddenly a car appeared from nowhere, almost running me over - this is a very dangerous situation and could lead to a nasty accident, obviously these households feel that they do not need to apply to the planning office to legally park their cars in front of their homes, unlike the rest of us council tax payers. This has been an ongoing issue for a number of years and I hope that the council and the planning office take this matter seriously.

Updates

  • Highways is not interested in my complaint and I have found myself being passed around Council departments without the issue being resolved.

  • Rebecca Elliott is the Chief Planning Officer who has refused me permission for a drive and dropped kerb but doesn't seem concerned if you just ignore the Planning Office and drive over council property and park on your front lawn.
