Still a danger spot, maybe more so
Reported in the Roads/highways category anonymously at 20:23, Sun 23 June 2019
Sent to Royal Borough of Greenwich 2 minutes later. FixMyStreet ref: 1671406.
This very wide junction to Christchurch Way was paved recently to make it safer to cross and slow down vehicles, and for vehicles to beware of pedestrians crossing and give way to them. It is not working according to plan, it has made an uncertain area where nobody knows who has right of way and many vehicles actually use the wider sloped surface to take the junction faster. Please make more obvious signage to five way and slow, before we have an accident here. I see children run across thinking it's a pavement!!
