Loose treads on bridge over railway lines

Sent to Leicestershire County Council 3 minutes later. FixMyStreet ref: 1668676.

Plastic tread installed to aid stability and prevent people slipping in wet weather are loose. This is Public right of way B1.

Updates

  • This bridge is the responsibility of Network Rail and from recent correspondence I gather it is due to be repainted next in 2028! Cllr King and I had hoped NR might replace it with a new bridge to include access for those using wheels - pushchairs, wheelchairs etc. NR said they have no such plans.
