Sent to Oxfordshire County Council 2 minutes later. Council ref: 1667237.
Very deep pothole at edge of road, traveling West on b4597 - see location. Other potholes around it and on both sides of the road were repaired today (19/7) - why on earth want this one fixed at the same time?
Thank you for your enquiry. This issue has been passed onto the relevant team for investigation.

This pothole, at the edge of the road, travelling west on the b4507, has not been fixed; instead another pothole 50m further on has been filled. Please fix damaging pothole and one next to it. Thank you.

This is completely unacceptable. I collided with this pothole yesterday at 17:50 and not only do I need two new tyres, I have just found out I'm going to need two new wheels too. Another person had also damaged his wheels in the same five minutes as myself. This needs sorting as a matter of urgency. The expense for this is going to be £800 plus and I will be claiming compensation from the county council for this cost. I sincerely hope that this doesn't happen to anyone else.

It is totally unacceptable this pothole has not been fixed so long after it was first reported. It really is exceedingly dangerous. I hit the pothole about 5 minutes before the car above did. I was just walking back to inspect it when the above accident happened. As with the above both of my tires were blown & i had to have my car recovered on a pickup truck. The pothole is so deep that we were both very lucky not to have a serious crash & it was full of water so was almost impossible to see in the dark. This needs to be fixed as a matter of urgency before someone is seriously hurt. I had the tires replaced today at a cost of £236.97. I will now take the car into a garage to check that there isn't further damage. I will be claiming compensation from the council for all expenses incurred.
