Almost always someone parked on the double yellows outside tesco.

I drive past tesco express 2 or 3 times a day and 90% of the time there are cars parked on the double yellows by the entrance. Nobody (except me it seems) takes any notice of the yellow lines, and the fact that ive never seen or heard of anyone ever getting a penalty makes me think that the council dont take the lines very seriously either. I would suggest making more of an effort to enforce the restrictions with perhaps a camera pointing at the patch of road with a sign saying illegally parked cars will be fined, or just remove the lines if you dont consider them important. The current situation is just silly though with people just ignoring them completely. Im sure even a fake camera would would perfectly well as a deterrent and would be a cheap easy fix for the problem.
