Raised pavement due to tree roots

The pavement adjacent to our back gate is being lifted by the roots of a lime tree. The problem has been getting worse for several years but it is now a serious tripping hazard as well as affecting our fence. Our address is 29 Ash Drive but our rear access is on Lime Grove. The tree in question is at the top of Lime Grove just before you turn into Ash Drive. The brick in the photographs is to show the scale of the height the pavement has lifted.
