Overgrown hedges

Reported in the Trees/Hedges Overhanging Roads Or Footpaths category anonymously at 19:42, Thu 13 June 2019

Sent to Hull City Council 2 minutes later. FixMyStreet ref: 1660077.

This hedge has been overgrown for an incredibly long time - at least a year - on bin days, the occupant will often leave their bin out, and then not take it back into their garden for three or four days meaning there is very little footpath space available.

As this is a highly utilised part of the footpath (being that the school is at the end of the street), it can get quite crowded around school start and school end times. The occupant also has a habit of parking on the grass verge in front of their house, meaning it is incredibly muddy and slippy when wet, and it is impossible to walk on the grass.

  • Can you please advise the address of the property in which this is?

  • I think the number is 44 - it's the very end house before the ten foot that goes around all the back of the houses.
