Years of littering blights the footpath here, clearly, left behind by local school children from the adjacent schools. Additionally, broken school chairs and other related objects/items are scattered along the path and for years past thrown into the old cutting of the Elham Valley Railway. The local schools need to educate their students more appropriately on the environment and actively monitor/discipline their students using the local area. It is not just this footpath, it is also the adjoining streets and, in particular, the alleyway between New and Old Dover Road. If it starts young at school, then what hope does the local area, society, and the world have from now into another decade!
