The Council has inspected these drains this afternoon and combined with recent CCTV investigation the flooding here and on Elm Road has been referred to Thames Water.
A 24hr response has been assigned and a tanker from Thames Water will investigate flow within their main line. Most drains and their connections were observed working during lighter rainfall suggesting a capacity or obstruction issue within the underground line.
