Road flooded, no drainage, 10” thick in mud
Reported in the Road and Pavement Issues category anonymously at 21:32, Tue 11 June 2019
Sent to Bromley Council 2 minutes later. FixMyStreet ref: 1657059.
We have had an issue for a number of years now where there is no drainage at the end of the road. With the heavy rainfall it is considerably worse. Water does not drain away due to the contours of the road, additional drainage at the end of the road is required or a Dutch drain across the end of the footpath to stop the amount of debris and water flooding the road.

Bromley Council Contractors have cleared mud from the highway surface, this was washed off the woodland by a record breaking rainfall event. Constructing a drain in the path of this run off would not prevent the mud and there are no surface water drains in the vicinity. The best we can offer is a quick street cleansing response when mud is washed onto the highway.
