Broken street light after accident

Back in December 2010, during the bad snowfall that we had, a driver had an accident and his car slid into the street lamp in question. The light used to work, even though it was dim (after the accident). But now it doesn't work at all which is a problem for us as my father-in-law walks to our Mosque around the corner. He doesn't feel very safe as there is no light. Please can somebody rectify the problem asap? Much appreciated, thank you.
