Is there any prospect of this work being carried out? The branches are now so low that pedestrians are needing to move them out of the way to pass by. When it rains they get soaked just passing through. It really does need urgent attention. Please respond.

Absolutely no action was taken by the Council, and now that the leaves have been shed naturally it will not be an issue until next summer. Thank you for nothing Mr Contractor.

The lower branches of the tree have been pruned by our contractor to improve access for users of the highway. Council policy states that we do not prune trees to alleviate issues relating to blocked light. For more information please see our Tree Management Strategy which can be found on the Council's website: https://www.bromley.gov.uk/ trees
