Trees on the verge arew once again overhanging the pathway and pose a risk to cyclists and pedestrians and road users who may have their view of the lights obscured . Cyclists , of course , should not be on the pathway but frequently are . I suggest that you put up a warning of prosecution sign at this spot . If you monitoered it you woThe problem of the sunken pathway at this spot has been reported before . At least 3 years ago .eported and discussed with Highways / Bridges before ( three years ago ?) . It presents a risk to the public , most especially in freezing conditions . Also people tend to step around it in inclement weather and could arguably overbalance and fall into the road . The bridge alongside it is not on it's base . There appears to be subsidence at this spot as the entrance to our driveway , adjacent to the highway has sunk and could present a trip hazard for those entering or leaving . My assumption is that some of this , at least , is a legacy of alterations to the road layout for Tritton Road .
