Sinking gulleys

Reported in the Roads/highways category anonymously at 12:31, Wednesday 5 June 2019

Sent to West Sussex County Council 4 minutes later

Eastern Avenue has recently been beautifully resurfaced and road markings replaced, but the gulley alongside the pavement, in the road, is still showing a significant dip. It would have been nice to have had the surface levelled while the works were going on, or perhaps sort out what is happening below the surface beforehand. Undoubtedly its due to the growing number of large vehicles using the road when it is not entirely suitable for them. Local theory is that delivery vehicles use the road because of the significant delays at the railway crossing.
