Trip hazard outside VPZ near traffic lights

This trip hazard has been here for over a year, today (30.05.2019) i have witnessed two people trip and fall over. we have applied hazard tape to keep aware pedestrians of this hazard.

  • Our contractor has been notified to take the appropriate action.

  • Works have still not been completed. There are people falling into traffic and VPZ's windows on a daily basis.

    There is a 2 inch drop.

  • Our contractor is in the process of programing these woks to be completed by 22/07/2019

  • This issue has now escalated to the point that the pavement has lifted as high as 7 inches above where it should be. This is very dangerous as there is exposed sharp stone for people to walk into.

    It has also damaged VPZ's shop front as the pavement has risen.

  • Temporary protection barriers have been put in place and works to investigate and repair this defect will be started within the next 10 days.
