Historic Kerb Stones Danaged in Conservation Area
Reported via iOS in the Roads and Carriageways category anonymously at 21:24, Tue 28 May 2019
Sent to Oxfordshire County Council 1 minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 1642374.
As advised at discussions for ‘part pavement parking’ the lovely old historic kerb stones are being damaged due to cars mounting the pavement. A kerb stone has now come out completely and many of the others are now subsiding which WILL result in further damage. This is a conservation area and the council took no notice of public concern at the time of proposals. Pavement parking needs to be removed before more damage is done. There doesn’t even seem to be a bus service any more and now large vehicles speed past and parked cars also block our front exit from the house leaving 400mm to get a buggy out.
