Road are-aligned after planning permission had become void

Reported in the Roads/highways category anonymously at 18:18, Mon 27 May 2019

Sent to Hampshire County Council 2 minutes later. FixMyStreet ref: 1641065.

Cufaude Lane Re-alignment planning permission was based on no more than 400 dwellings being built on Sherfield Park.

400 Dwellings was surpassed and as such the planning permission was no longer valid.

Subsequently, re-alignment did not appear in legal searches undertaken during the purchase of property on Sherfield Park.

The subsequent re-alignment of Cufaude Lane after a variation of planning permission was made by BDBC, has negatively impacted the house prices on Rockbourne Road and Cufaude Ln as the realignment has resulted in significantly increases in traffic, speeding and dangerous driving between Rockbourne Road and Cufaude Lane.

Suitable traffic management should be built to mitigate the negative impacts that occurred after the variation to the planning permission was made.
