Path signpost hardly visible from A 1062 (Ludham FP 9)

The first two photos show the junction of Ludham FP 9 with the A1062 road, from the north. In each case, the path is hardly visible. Only when you get right up to it (third photograph) can you actually see the new signpost, nestled in the gap in the hedge. Norfolk County Council, when installing this signpost, seem to have paid no regard to the fact that the road here is a busy "A" class road. Surely, a more responsible approach would have been to use a more visible design of post (taller/bigger/ reflective) or, at the very least, to have instead positioned the signpost (or an additional signpost) on the opposite side of the road, to ensure that it is readily visible to all path users?
