There are two issues with the street light at the east end of the Hanborough Railway Bridge.: (1) It is covered by overgrown branches so that the light is scarcely visible. Please remove all the vegetation so that there is good clear lighting. (2)The light is marked as going off between 12.30am and 5.30am. However, it covers the narrow shared pedestrian and cyclist path on the pavement in one side of the bridge, which should be lit at all times for the safety of the pedestrian and cyclist users. Further, on Fridays because of the arrival of a GWR train from Paddington at Hanborough Station at 12.45am, there should always be lighting covering the Railway Bridge pavement for passengers , pedestrian or cyclist, using the the narrow pavement to go to the west. This issue has existed for a very long time, and OCC has not thought to deal with the safety of pedestrians and cyclists on the bridge late at night.
