Grass verges need cutting and trees need trimming

The grass verges have only been cut once this season and the grass (mainly weeds) are 300mm in places. The trees in the verges are overhanging the carriageway and footway - they need trimming and the crowns raising. The highway soft estate looks very untidy and unkept - some residents have taken to cutting the grass and trimming the trees themselves. The soft estate was better maintained by the developer prior to the recent adoption (eg. the grass was cut every 2 weeks).
