Safety Barrier Removed
Reported in the Footways and Pavement damage category anonymously at 20:51, Wed 22 May 2019
Sent to Oxfordshire County Council 5 minutes later. FixMyStreet ref: 1637509.
The galvanised safety barriers are removed for no reason now leaving a clear run from the cycleway / footpath to the main Buckingham Road, I have also reported the same for Holm Square. OCC said ' nothing to do with them' but upon speaking to Tim Green from Cherwell Council he confirmed all the cycleways / footpaths are owned / managed by OCC. This is a concerning safety issue so needs rectifying asap

Not a lot seems to be happening and no updates at all from anyone anywhere. Bit of a tumbleweed moment, does ' fixmystreet' work?

I have ascertained that OCC did remove barriers to improve cycling etc. They appear to of not risk assessed for safety of children who can now run straight out.
