Japanese Knotweed has spread from the Council's pavement into our garden. Japanese Knotweed spreads quickly and must be removed promptly to avoid getting out of control

  • I am a neighbour and was alarmed by this report. Japanese knotweed in this area would be a true disaster. Hence I had a quick look and if you talk about the corner by the footpath I believe this is ivy. Very invasive, too, but not nearly as difficult or impossible to get rid of. It may have rooted in your garden as well by now, so only a combined effort of the council and you can make it go.

  • Hi, I also saw this and an worried if it is in fact Japanese knot weed. I see now that Bucks have contacted you separately. Would it be possible to let the village know what they said please? Are you happy with their response? Regards Gavin
