Alleyway in Lennard Avenuw BR$ 9AZ
Reported in the Road and Pavement Issues category anonymously at 11:12, Tue 21 May 2019 using FixMyStreet Pro
Sent to Bromley Council 3 minutes later. FixMyStreet ref: 1635910.
The alleyway is overgrown and a hazard to health. Every year it takes many complaints to get the grass and weeds cut! Why not pave it or concrete it rather than pay contract workers to cut it.. one way to save money for good. I've just been stung with the stinging nettles. Time to take action please before too late.

The postcode should read BR4 9AZ Please amend. Also am sad to note that Kingsway road has been narrowed with a large pedestrian way something that was not necessary yet other areas like pavements around residential roads neglected and this alleyway a total shame to the council. I'm not being obtuse but the stinging nettles affect both young and old and someone in authority needs to come and have a look!

Still waiting for your contractor to show up. How high does it have to get. It is a hinderance to health and safety especially for kids and elderly...

Can't believe how incompetent Bromley council has become. How many complaints do you need to get a job done? You keep churning out that you are investigating to find out why your contractor has not carried out the job. Why not be cost effective and pave the alleyway that way you will save paying these inept contractors to do their job. You have dug up near the alleyway on Lennard avenue..use same men to pave the footpath! Get on with the job for God's sake!!!

The alleyway has still not been done yet the roundabout at the end of glebe way and the grass verges have been cut. Why has your contractor who obviously was in the area left this out? I await your comments. thanks

Ive just seen about 8 complaints on fixmystreet about the alleyway between Lennard Avenue and Croydon Road, and despite your comment that it is being looked at nothing done and the nettles quite high. Are you waiting for a serious health and safety complaint to be lodged? How long does it take to instruct your contractors? This is really as sad situation as none of our pleas are being heard!

I have been told by my neighbour that 5 -6 men came to clear the alleyway. Not much has been done at all!! The alleyway is still full of nettles, grass and debri left on the pathway. Not only that 3 bags have been left leaning on my fence! If my fence is damaged the council will have to repair it. I would like someone from the Council to come and inspect this as soon as possible.
