This was previously reported and subsiquently investigated by FixMyStreet who reported it to SSEN. I have followed up as per your update and SSEN reference and they state it is not their manhole and in their opinion a 'water pit'. Please advise and act accordingly.

Original Report - There is a damaged manhole on the pedestrian footpath of the public highway outside the current main entrance to St Hilda's College, Oxford. This is an area of high activity given the college and the school next door and concerns are that an accident is highly probable. St Hilda's Buildings Department have placed safety hazard barriers around, can these be returned to the main Lodge once work is complete.
