Builders vans parking on the pavements

Reported in the Pavements category anonymously at 08:51, Sunday 19 May 2019 using FixMyStreet Pro

Sent to Oxfordshire County Council 4 minutes later. Council ref: 1633799.

This was a Saturday and two vans were parked on the pavements and five more on the green lanes corner. There are also traffic lights due to the building works. During the week, my children walk along this road to school along with alot of other children to Gillotts Secondary school and other local school. My children have complained that they have to leave the pavement and walk in the road due the vans and building works/traffic lights. This is dangerous for the children walking to school and extremely unconsidered. We encourage the children to walk for exercise, reduce traffic congestion around the school and as most parent work, they can't actual drop the children. All builds should be required to make proper plans to park vans without blocking the pavements. This is now getting out of hand with the domestic and commercial developments in the town.
