Better monitoring of speed limits on southern approach to Grindleford

Reported in the Road traffic signs category by Grindleford Parish Council at 13:26, Thursday 16 May 2019

Sent to Derbyshire County Council 3 minutes later

Traffic approaching Grindleford from the crossroads at Calver is travelling through a 50 mph zone for most of the way. There is an issue with cars not slowing down for the 40 sign as they come into the residential area, and then not slowing down to 30 mph a little way further on. New Road to Eyam is now closed and therefore much more popular with bikes and walkers. They are crossing at the top of a blind hill. It's also hard for residents to get their cars out safely. If there are speed traps coming to the area, could they target this area to deter fast driving?
