Parking in passing bays

Reported anonymously at 09:13, Thu 16 May 2019

Sent to South Holland District Council 2 minutes later

We have a passing bay down our road but these residents park their vehicles here all the time when there is room in front of their house to put them. It causes major problems for the refuse collections lorries and other delivery vehicles as they have to go on the path to get by! Also I have seen some of the older residents in the street who have larger cars struggle to get by. Is there anything that can be done please?

  • No it has not been fixed because presumably it is not a priority even though it causes a lot of people down the road, as well as public service vehicles, ie refuse collectors, delivery drivers etc a lot of inconvenience. What's most annoying is there is room on their drive for at least another car, they are just completely inconsiderate for other residents and general public who wish to get by their cars

  • I assume no-one has been in touch with the home owners?
