View of oncoming traffic obstruction

The view of oncoming traffic (leaving town) at the junction of Campbell street & Lawford road is now extremely compromised when waiting to pull out of Campbell street onto the Lawford road. I can only presume this is due in part to newly painted double yellow lines on Campbell street which in the past was used by customers of the Co-Op for brief parking stops while using tne store, they now have a tendency to pull up immediately outside the store on the zigzag lines. I believe with the proximity of two side roads on opposite sides of a main road, next to a pedestrian crossing, a public house & a busy local store it is only a matter of time before an accident happens. I would suggest either partial removal/shortening of the double yellow lines on Campbell street (allowing for brief parking while shopping) & or parking restrictions immediately outside the Co-Op store on the Lawford road ( which will allow the much needed view of oncoming traffic). I would like to add that on most of the minor side roads in the area double yellow lines always extend around the corner to allow for unrestricted views, why not in this case where a busy road is concerned? Thanks for taking the time to read this email.
