  • I have noticed the street lights on Harrier Green SO45 2EY go off early hours of the morning and go back on at 4am, I have started leaving my outside light on as I work shifts and out front of the property is pitch black, a month ago I noticed two vans out front working on the street light changing the bulb, before this the lights were on all night long till around 04.30 am.

  • From my understanding, the street lights turn off at 1am and go back on at 4am, this has caused a problem where I live due to the selling of drugs becoming more frequent early hours of the morning, only last Saturday 1st June a towrag stood outside my front door at 2am (as I'm the only one to leave an out side light on) and looks like a deal took place (money changing hands along with a small bag of something. I understand the council want to save money, but even if one in every other light was left on, then this would deter deals from taking place out side good people's properties.

  • To date nothing has changed regarding the street lights being turned off at 1am till 4am. Would of been nice to see every other light turned off leaving some light in the close where I live. I'm still having to leave my outside light on as it is pitch black out the front of the property where I live.

  • 4 Months on and the council have done nothing to rectify the issue we have in the area we live in, having not even a street light turned on has caused issues with teenagers hanging around and drug dealers in the area being more blatant in hanging around.

  • 5 months on and no street lights turned on, I understand from the councils point of view this is a money saving idea but from a residents issue more drug dealing and teenagers are hanging around none lighted areas dealing and causing trouble ...
