Locksbottom Traffic lights cannot detect motorbikes

On May the 6th I lead a group of 9 bikers from Hastings to Locksbottom High Street. We approached the traffic lights from the A21. In the right hand lane indicating right. I was at the front and had stopped behind the cycle priority box. I watched the traffic lights go through their complete sequence about 4 times but the induction loop in the road did not detect my motorbike and therefore the turn right filter stayed on red. This caused a long trafic jam behind me. A bike pulled up behind me and told me that a bus driver had just told him that the induction loops cannot detect motorbikes. He then overtook me and turned right on a red signal. I followed cautiously when the oncoming traffic was clear. I am concerned that the cameras recorded this and may receive a ticket and a fine. I believe I had the same problem last year on the May Day Bank holiday.
