Dogs in dog free areas of Oakwood Park

Dog fouling is a constant problem in Oakwood Park. Despite the entire park being a green space for dogs, dog owners are consistently letting their dogs use spaces which are clearly marked as no dogs allowed. This afternoon at 3pm a dog owner was exercising her dog in one of the tennis courts, preventing it from use by our children, and another dog was in the children’s play area, something that happens very regularly. Given the problem with fouling in the park it’s frustrating that these limited areas cannot be guaranteed as free from fouling thanks to dog owners who ignore the rules. Can there be more monitoring or signs to make sure these small areas stay dog free in an otherwise dog friendly park?
There also seems to be fresh dog poo on a daily basis on the bridge entrance over the Piccadilly Line. This area is hugely popular with young children so the fouling here is a particular problem.
