Roadworks on this road recently and the speed bumps have been rebuilt way too high. Caused damage to my vehicle and I was driving around 5mph

This speed bump was put in a few months ago and it is abnormally high off the ground. Even normal cars with decent ground clearance struggle to get over them safely. The image attached shows several scraping marks which are likely to have caused damage for other cars. I returned home this evening and slowly went over the bump around 5mph. My suspension at the back collapsed, dropping the coil spring onto the rear tyre. 8 have had a previous issue whereby my exhaust fell down at the back on another separate occasion. I think having 2 issues like this on the same speed bump clearly shows that there is a problem with the height and severity of the speed bump and even just lowering the height of the speed bump by a couple of inches would overcome these issues. The speed bump I am referring to is the one just before you take the left turn down to pasture road. It is quite clear by driving down the road which speed bump I'm referring to.

I will be seeking compensation on the expensive repairs and inconvenience this has caused me. My car passed its MOT with no advisories regarding the suspension or rear passenger side wheel and if this speed bump was an acceptable or normal size and height then this damage wouldn't have been caused
