The bus stop sign has now fallen down and been moved (by persons unknown) into Chapel Street and dumped by a bench there, blocking the pavement.

An elderly lady reported to me that she had tripped over the stub of the bus stop (see pic). I have also learnt that the bus stop was moved late in saturday night, so assume this was not the County Council. I have now moved it into my drive to make it safe. Please collect it from there any time: Phoenix House, High Street.
