Litter Where Contractors Mowed Grass

From the junction with Station Road and North Hyde Road to Croyde Avenue - and alongside Bedwell Gardens - there is a linear grassed area with trees, grass and occasional daffodils. This entire area is littered with debris, sweet wrappings, crisp bags, paper, tin cans, plastic bottles, glass bottles, etc. This is solely due to the stupid grass mowing contractors completely failing to clear away the rubbish before mowing the grass. The litter is now worse - likely with broken glass - because the it was also shredded and dispersed by the mowing machines. This is total incompetence and frankly laziness. Yet it happens every time. Why isn't the litter picked up before mowing the grass? Why is the Council not monitoring what its contractors get up to? Appalling.
