Two pot holes close together as you ascend Southdown Road fro Lymore Avenue end. Approximately around house number 183 Southdown Road. Can’t avoid these when driving up the incline because of parked cars or traffic descending downhill. They are harsh and really rattle your car.

These are fairly new but quite deep and two together make it much worse.

I'm another victim of these disgusting potholes. Scheduling them for future works is not good enough. They need urgent attention as they are even worse than when reported last month. I was a passenger travelling up Southdown road today and the enormous crash of the suspension actually jarred my knee which is now very painful. What further damage/injury has to happen before you actually do something. Previous useless and ineffective repairs to these same holes have been carried out before which are a waste of money. The patch needs properly cutting out, filled and then sealed to prevent water ingress and further break up soon afterwards. It's the sealing that is never done nowadays that prolongs and protects a repair. Permanent repairs actually save money and further misery for the motorist. The junction of Southdown Road with Lymore Avenue also has large potholes as you enter Southdown Road and these have white paint marked around them identifying them for repair but it's been there so long the paint has almost faded away!
