Poor Quality Resurfacing by Contractors

Hi,
I am concerned about the part resurfacing that is going on towards the Bristol end of the cycle path.
It feels that the quality of resurfacing is nowhere near as good as it should be and even falls short of being an acceptable surface to cycle on in places. In particular many sections of the new surface has a great deal of small ripples throughout. This is uncomfortable to ride on, and is actually worse than many of the original parts of the path that hasn’t needed resurfacing at all.
Compared to the section done at Warmley it feels like poor workmanship and as a result is frustrating to cycle on knowing that good money is being spent to have this done.
The Bristol/Bath cycle path is a REALLY GREAT asset, and I really hope it can be kept that way so every cyclist can enjoy it for many years to come.

I totally agree - Its very shoddy as are the other patch repairs that are ongoing in the area. Presumably not rolled out with any form of machine other than a wacker plate.
BCC - please resolve with the contractors and get them to repair these sections to a suitable standard..
